It has been a wonderful year packed full of fruitful ministry with Creative One Media. Together we serve over 5,000 campus ministry staff with their creative media needs. The ratio of my team to those we serve is laughable compared to corporate standards, but we serve a God who can do anything, and this year he has proved his faithfulness yet again.
Since we moved as one team, we’ve received 200 project requests, completed 76, waiting for approval on 32, currently working on 42 and have accepted 24 others that haven’t begun yet. Even before the New Year we have 19 potential jobs on our radar and only declined 5 all year. We’ve been a busy and productive team.
Trusting God is easy when we see him come through for us, isn’t it? We struggle. God provides. We praise him. But, I currently find myself in that first part…the struggle. It’s hard being part-time in ministry. We are often overworked, and under funded. I try very hard not to manipulate or guilt anyone into giving to my ministry, and even now, I write this letter earnestly. I’m praying God will provide $3,000 by the end of 2018. This will help make up for the loss in partners I had this year, and set me up to stay in my role with Cru part-time and hopefully one day, full-time. We are always in need of videographers in Cru, and I need to do everything I can to keep from pulling away to work on raising support.
With that reality in mind, would you prayerfully consider helping donating a special gift of $500, $300, or $100 on top of your current giving to the Lord? I don’t know your situation, but if the Lord moves, I ask you to even consider a faith-stretching gift of $1,000 or some other amount that is significant to you. I typically avoid asking with such boldness out of fear of being misunderstood, but this year my needs are urgent, and I feel that God is asking me to be bold.If you decide to give, you can go directly to give.cru.org/0800259 to use our secure giving system or you can go to emmataniguchi.com/give for more ways to give.
The reality is, it’s a blessing to put my full trust in the name of Jesus, not only for my gift of relationship with him forever, but also for my complete provision here on earth. Know that I am grateful for you no matter what. Let’s continue to trust him and praise his name together!
“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” – Romans 15:13
Thank you for your faithfulness,
